My Approach
Every school is different— and every student deserves instruction that works. My consulting is grounded in the belief that real impact comes from thoughtful collaboration, evidence-based practices, and a deep respect for the educators doing the work every day.
Literacy as a Gateway
I believe literacy is foundational to equity, opportunity, and lifelong success. I help schools build programs that empower all learners, especially those who need it most.
Evidence-Based, Always
My work is rooted in the science of reading and current literacy research, balanced with the realities of classroom instruction and student needs.
Collaborative by Design
Partnership is at the heart of everything I do. I work closely with teachers, coaches, and leaders to co-create solutions that are realistic and sustainable.
Inclusive & Responsive
I prioritize the needs of diverse learners—students with learning differences, multilingual learners, and those from historically underserved communities.
Purpose-Driven PD
Professional learning should be practical, relevant, and immediately usable. I design sessions that connect directly to classroom goals and student outcomes.
